Our Sires represent some of the finest bloodlines in North America and Europe. On this page are dogs from the USA, Canada, Ireland and of course England where all of these Spaniels find their roots. All of our dogs can and do hunt on the Game Farm we own and operate thus ensureing that everyone earns their keep, no pretty prima donnas here, though there are some handsome fellas to be seen. I am a wee bit on the biased side of things. Each dog here brings his own individual attributes to the table but all of these guys share a number of common characteristics. All of these males are super companions very affectionate and extremely attentive. These guys are willing to please and have the interlligence to do it, please you that is. There are no allowances for protective or any aggressive behaviour it is not tolorated nor wanted, if our dogs are not totally trustworthy they are not in our breeding plan. Handoon's Reflex(Sam) has been the heart and soul of our kennel since we imported him from Ireland. Sam has placed in Irish trials. Sam has placed in Canadian trials. Sams' real calling is here on the Game Farm with us where it is out for a hunt or a brisk lounge on the couch. Sam is an awesum buddy, always attentive, always alert, just always there Sam is asuper fella. Sam is an extremely prepotent stud just check out a litter that he sires. they are all little Sams, not all that bad a thing to complain about. Ask anyone with a Sam Pup.

 

 

Fionavar's Bear was born and raised right here at Fionavar he has many of the attributes that we are looking for in a companion, hunting buddy, couch dog and just about any activity that you can think of. Bear is a monster he is intelligent beyond his own good with the endurance of a marathon man. This fella just does not fail on a task he will not, I am not sure if he even knows how. It does not matter if sent on a retrieve he will come back with the game, one of those dogs that will just not quit no matter the cover or lack there of. Bear has been a pleasure to handle whether on the Farm or Trialling he is alwas willing and ready to go. I have learned alot from him and working with his pups is always a pleasure and we are looking forward to seeing more of them.

 

 

Woodcockrun Big Deal has brought us the English in Springer Spaniel his Sire was from a litter imported in whelp from Jolly Old England. Team is the Sire of many wonderful Fionavar puppies and is quite prominante in Fionavar's Daisy Mae's pedigree as her Grandsire. While Team is a compact athletic dog with great intensity as well as a super attitude about all the is going on around him the pups that he sires are all of a good size with males in the 45-50 lb range. Team puppies are very affectionate and a joy to work with they learn fast and have provided some of the finest companions to leave Fionavar.

 

 

 

 

Mountain Even's Wonderama comes to us from Casey Sajdak of Vermont. Wonder has placed in a number of minor stakes as a Puppy and a Limit dog, this does hold promise for the future. Wonder was needed on the Game Farm for the past year as our clients need to see an awesome dog in action as well. Wonder has done an incredible job on the Game Farm where he has shown off his considerable natural abilities and really honed his skills as a hunting conpanion.Wonder is an affectionate and attentive companion who is a joy to be around.
